Chapter 7: Upstate New York

It appears that the entrusting of the gold record to young Joseph Smith has an obligation attached: That of getting the knowledge contained in these records back to the rightful heirs, the remnant of the earlier people we call the Indians. It appears that not all of American Indians are descendents of those earlier people.

In addition, this knowledge is also to go to the Jews, from whom the original records had split off in Jerusalem prior to the time the Bible, (as we know it) had been formed. The knowledge of the record, according to the record, is to go to the entire house of Israel.

It appears that the purpose of the church that was formed as a result of these records is to accomplish the task of spreading this knowledge, first to the Indian people (more specific the remnant of the ancient people) and then it is to be offered to the entire world, especially to those of the house of Israel. The last to receive this information, which is a sign of the very last days, are the Jews.

The Bible as we know it and the gold record of America are to become witnesses of each other in these, the latter-days. Together they are to help the Jews and Gentiles, (to include the entire House of Israel) to better understand the errors of our ways down through the ages.

Personally I cannot vouch for every action that has taken place within the church which has been set up to accomplish this task. After all, men of flesh run it. But after my years of research, I can attest to the truths contained within the gold record.

I personally can tell you that your knowledge of the truth of this record will not come from a pope, a prophet, a bishop or even a missionary. There is only one way to positively know the truth contained in this record and even the truth of all things, and that is by the same way I have come to know this truth. That is through an individual and personal method of studying, pondering, and with a sincere desire to know the truth you appeal to your Creator in prayer in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. It will be by the power of the Spirit or the Holy Ghost that you will know this truth, not by any man.

If you cannot do this, you will never know the truth. Acquire your book in secret, read it in your secret place, and ask in secret prayer to your Creator each time you read. Ask him to help you understand what you read each time. When you finish the record, ask if it is true. It will happen for you as it has for me. You need no one else. No one needs stand between you and your Father except our example, our brother, Jesus Christ. It's real.

Acquire your $1.50 copy of the record. Don't spend any more, it's the information, not the cover, that's counts. As I have done, follow the instructions offered in the book as to how to know the truth. If you have questions, I will be happy to help you, if you will do the same for me.

If your desire is not great enough to take the time and use the energy to follow those instructions, please don't use my time, as I have no desire to argue over religious points. Time is too short.

Because of the evidences coming forth from the earth (as has been foretold in the gold record), I have set up a non-profit corporation, called the BMS Foundation, to aggressively accumulate any information which may help us to learn more about these earlier Americans. This is done in hopes that we might bring sufficient evidence to the forefront so that all people can appreciate what these early Americans have done for us. We can also prepare for future events, which are foretold within the record, and be prepared to welcome those who are prophesied to come to this land in the near future.
